Mission accomplished! The weather has been kind with the wind dropping out at last and amongst the Whiting, Cod and doggies we are still having some good catches of Thornback Ray. The fishing has really turned on here at Ramsgate with the Thornbacks arriving inshore and the Cod on the offshore wrecks along with a sprinkling of Pollack. Quality Skate still around just last week we returned a pregnant female of 13lb. Bass are met with in the mouth of Sandwich Haven in summer; fish where any flock of gulls may be seen in a state of great excitement, with fly or spinning bait.
